Val Ozigbo Donates Cash, Food Items To People Living With Sickle Cell Disorder

The immediate past President and chief executive officer of Transcorp PLC, Mr Val. Chineto Ozigbo, has donated cash and food items to the Association of People Living with Sickle Cell Disorder in an elaborate gathering were other humanitarian groups like registered orphanage homes in Anambra State also received their fair share of cash and food items.
The Former Transcorp boss who was about celebrating his 50th golden birthday anniversary on the 20th of July, chose to identify with the organizations as a show of solidarity and concern towards the underprivileged, especially in this covid-19 pandemic and economic downturn.
While presenting the cash and food items, Mr Val. Ozigbo chose the opportunity to declare his intentions to contest for the 2021 Anambra State gubernatorial elections. He reiterated his commitments in making judicious use of resources as his trademark, to spur the state into greater heights.
It is a common knowledge that Mr. Val. Ozigbo is a seasoned enterprenuer that had been a great achiever in the banking industry, before he ventured into making waves in the hospitality sector, were he rose to preside over Transcorp PLC, a conglomerate in hotel, power, oil and other business concerns.
Mr. Val. Ozigbo can best be described as an excellent manager of both human and material resources. Soft spoken and calm with an easy temperament to relate with everyone, he is capable to deliver on his promises if given the necessary support.
The National Coordinator APLSCD, Mrs Aisha Edward was grateful to Mr Val Chineto Ozigbo for choosing to identify with the sickle cell association in these trying times. She also adjured Mr. Val Ozigbo’s donations to be apolitical, but a kind hearted disposition towards the underprivileged, as was in his character for long.
Other beneficiaries of the donations from Mr. Val Chineto Ozigbo like all the Registered Orphanage Homes in Anambra State,All Disable Persons Homes, and All Old People’s Homes, were full of smiles and gratitude for such a wonderful gesture.
