US cuts citizenship renunciation fee by 80%
From April 13, the US will slash the cost to renounce citizenship from $2,350 to $450, reversing a 2015 hike.
The move eases tax burdens on Americans abroad, especially “Accidental Americans,” and follows advocacy by the Association of Accidental Americans.
