Unknown causes of death in Nasarawa scare residents

Nasarawa state has in less than a week,recorded a rise in the death of some of its prominent citizens ,who had at one time served the state in different capacity as civil servants at top positions.
This has caused panick among residents of the state,who are not sure of what could have led to the sudden death of some elites within a week.
Our correspondent reports that from last Saturday to early morning of Wednesday no fewer than Five prominent men died without a trace to what might have led to their demise.
Among these prominent personalities that their dead shocked the state government and stakeholders in the state were, Alhaji Halilu Envuluanza, a former chairman of the state internal revenue,Alhaji Okposhi, traditional ruler Alhaji Mohammed Adamu the sarkin Nunku,a former permanent secretary, Ibrahim Dahiru and others.
It would be recalled that towards the end of the last year , precisely in December 2020,the former provost college of education,Dr Rebecca Umaru died,few weeks from when the state was coming out of the shock over the brutal killing of the state APC chairman Mr Philip Tatare Shekwo.
However, when contacted, an official of the state ministry of Health name withheld, said there was no any scientific record to what has been the root cause of the death of these prominent personalities.
He also added that there was no record of any strange outbreak, apart from the coronavirus disease which the health sector in the state has been battling with to control it’s spread.
Though he did not want his name on print,he assured that so far there is nothing to panick about and that those that died were not admitted in any of the state health facility to warrant knowing what caused their death.
” I have no record to what led to the death of these prominent citizens and you should know that they are not staying in the same area for any one to suspect that their death was as a result of any strange ailment.
” So to be frank,I cannot for now say this is what caused the death and apart from coronavirus ,which we in Nasarawa state have been working hard to tackle,no account of any disease outbreak in the state for any likely suspicion to the recent death of our elderly citizens as witnessed this week” The source disclosed.
