Unizik students welcome Senator Uche Ekwunife, receive gifts, cash

The Students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka were in a parley with the Senator representing Anambra central in the National Assembly, Senator Uche Ekwunife, Iyom on the way forward for a hitch-free 2023 General Elections.
Senator Ekwunife who is the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, honoured the invitation of the school’s SUG vice president Comrade Ifunnaya Okoye who hosted a seminar themed “A woman: Her Asset and Beauty”.
The event took place at the school’s auditorium on 10th February,2023.
Senator Ekwunife donated the sum of five hundred thousand (N500,000) to the students and as well some laptops which were won by students with some other prizes.
The seminar hosted a lot of dignitaries like the Young Progressive Party flag bearer Honourable Stanley Okeke who is contesting for Akwa North and South Federal House of Representatives, the CEO of DEO property Mr. Orji Francis Ebuka and so many others who attended the seminar.
At the seminar, they all talked about Assets and Utilisation of time in school even as they used that medium to encourage the undergraduates to be focused and smile last.
She as well created Job opportunities for the students who are willing to learn.
