Unizik Lecturer Attacked, After Allegations Of Student Abuse

Video’s that circulated WhatsApp Platforms on Saturday featured group molestation of a lecturer identified as a Professor in the Chinese Department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (Unizik) after being accused of harassing a finalist who this Reporter later identified her as his supervisee
In the first video, he was seen to have fled away with a coat that left some parts exposed and the victimized Student dressed indecently as she lamented, laid on the floor with some unfamiliar clothing in her possession, stood up and adjusted her singleton.
In the second video, he was seen to have been fiercely battered by an unknown group and taken away in an authorised tricycle accompanied by unidentified men
The attacked is identified in this report as Ifeanyi Odinye; a Professor in Chinese studies Department, Faculty Of Arts in Unizik, the first indigenous Professor of Chinese language and linguistics in Nigeria and Africa, pioneer coordinator and pioneer head of the Chinese Studies department at Unizik, the pioneer director (acting) of the Confucius Institute in Unizik, first University staff in Nigeria to study and teach Chinese language, his research areas are Linguistics (Igbo and English) and Chinese studies. With Certificates, decades of working experiences, creative outputs. academic leadership qualities, supervisions, and a member of Professional/Relevant Bodies.

In a write up on a WhatsApp channel; Unizik media connect, the female student stated “He fixed a meeting at his office, Prior to this meeting, i had given him a blowjob and i expected a meaner intent from him, therefore, i made alternative plans to expose the unfortunate engagements, It was the lecturer who removed his own clothes while i pretended to remove mine, after that i quickly packed his clothes, raised alarm and my syndicates intervened, he ran out of the office and dashed towards chike Okoli where the video recordings took off”
According to the WhatsApp channel, the lecturer discovered examination malpractice and offered bribes ” I caught her in exam malpractice and she was begging me to look for ways to wriggle out of the problem, She offered money and gifts which i rejected and called me to schedule a meeting, she came inside the office with some strange guys and within a split second, they descended on me stripped me naked and this girl ran away with my clothes, i robed myself in my academic gown and chased after her to collect my clothes while the thugs in turn chased after me, another lecturer of the department was involved in this plot”
Furthermore, when these facts were laid before her during an interrogation with the Chief Security officer; Obi Chinedum, she denied them.
As further Investigation and interrogation are being made, a clarified cause of this incident would be revealed and the culprits put to book.
However, Nnamdi Azikiwe University condemned the action of the lecturer and ordered full scale investigation.
