UNITED IGBO ELDERS COUNCIL, WORLDWIDE PRESS RELEASE July 19, 2024
The United Igbo Elders Council, Worldwide (UIECW), has congratulated H.E. Senator Ned Munir Nwoko for his elevation to the position of Chairman, Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation.
The Elders Council was not only delighted to learn about the elevation, but also noted that it was a part recognition of his past and continuing efforts in strengthening Nigeria’s external financial profiles, and would therefore further open the way for the realization of the other multi-faceted patriotic objectives to which the distinguished Senator has been committing his efforts.
The Council noted that among several other possible benefits, the distinguished Senator having in the past helped to de-escalate Nigeria’s external indebtedness, with this latest appointment, the stage is set for yet more accomplishments, hopefully including the approval of Anioma as a state within a united Nigeria. In this regard the Elders Council calls for continued maximum support of Nigerians, above all, the good peoples of Anioma!
