UN-POLAC FOUNDATION APPOINTS ENUGU JOURNALIST STATE CO-ORDINATOR
The Senate of United Nations-POLAC Foundation has nominated Mr Larry Nwaiwu, Enugu Bureau Chief of Anambra Newspapers and Printing Corporation, and Awka the Co-ordinator of the organisation in Enugu state.
According to the letter of appointment dated, 14th March 2023 and signed by the Director-General of the global body, Prof. Halo B. Eton, it was stated that the appointment was on the recommendation and approval by the UN-POLAC Senate and Advisory Board.
The letter also stated that Mr Nwaiwu is to work directly with the Country President and Secretary-General/Director of Programmes on all matters relating to the organisation in Enugu state as approved by the Director-General.
The date for the swearing-in ceremony according to the letter of appointment will be communicated to him on a later date in Lagos.
UN-POLAC is a Peace Advocacy Organisation with the mandate of the United Nations to promote and enhance the effectiveness of the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) now, Sustainable Development Goals and UNESCO Culture of Peace Project, particularly, the maintenance of peace, Non-Violence and protection of human dignity.
