Uche Nnam Okwukwu Elected President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide
Uche Nnam Okwukwu, an activist lawyer from Rivers State, has been elected as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide during the ongoing convention in Port Harcourt. Okwukwu emerged unopposed after being chosen by the General Assembly of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. In his acceptance speech, he expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and outlined his priorities, including advocating for the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, restructuring Nigeria, and uniting the Igbo people. Okwukwu also committed to addressing key issues such as political prisoners, economic development, and the creation of Anioma State.
