Ubah reiterates resolve to set high standards in politics

Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has reiterated his resolve to set very high standards in politics within the ‘short time’ he would stay in politics before returning to his business empire; the Capital Group. This was as he repeated the feat of showering his Aguata constituents with various household items, small and medium enterprise machinery and most especially solar-powered street lights meant to light up all the 20 wards in Aguata.

Speaking during the official launch of the Operation light up Anambra South project in Aguata yesterday, January 25, 2023, at Umuezennofor Primary School, Umuchi, Ekwulobia, Ubah appreciated the President Generals of various Aguata communities, YPP faithful and other political stakeholders in attendance for keeping faith with him and his political party, Young Progressives Party.

The Prince of the Senate assured them that the plethora of bills in favour of Anambra South and Ndi Igbo he has spear headed at the senate, the multi million naira hospital in Aguata as well as the various impacts he had made in every ward in Anambra South Senatorial Zone ncluding the solar powered streetlight projects across all the wards in Anambra South would not come close to what he would do if he is returned to the senate come February 25, 2023.

He further charged the Aguata electorate to ensure they only vote in people who believe in the Anambra State.
On that note, he enjoined the voters to vote in the YPP flag bearers for Federal House of Representatives, Aguata, as well as his counterparts for the state house of assembly to represent Aguata 1 and 2 respectively, namely; Emma Ezeokafor, Afamefuna Ezeife and his counterpart vying to represent Aguata 1 at the state house of assembly.

Earlier, the YPP flag bearer for Aguata Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Emma Ezeokafor took the audience through memory lane of all who had represented them both at the state and federal levels and highlighted the fact that none had impacted the people as much as the YPP National Leader, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi. He therefore enjoined the electorate to ensure they vote in YPP again in the forthcoming elections as it is the only party that has shown it is determined to improve the lives of the people.

On their part, the convener of Afamation Movement, a formidable political force in Aguata and beyond, Honourable Afam Ezenwafor, as well as one of APGA’s major stakeholders in Aguata who had since collapsed his structure for the YPP project, Honourable Valentine Ezeuchegbu took turns to assure of their resolve to ensure that the YPP team is voted in en masse in the forthcoming election. They described the YPP as the only party with genuine candidates who have genuine interest in the people and in improving the lot of their society through politics.

High points of the event were the formal presentation of the solar powered lights to the President Generals of the various Aguata communities who were in attendance as well as the sharing of the hundreds of household items and SME equipments to the visibly ecstatic attendees.
