TRUTH TO GOD, TWITTER IS NOT PART OF MY PROBLEMS

Sometimes, I wonder what really is our problem. Why should I break my neck because of ban on Twitter? Is Twitter GARRI that most Nigerian homes today can no longer afford? Is Twitter the proteins that our children require to prevent looming kwashiorkor?

Are we not even disturbed by the imminent threats of danger these social media outfits are bringing into the “holy and primitive” African continent? Are they not distractions to us and perhaps to our children yet unborn?

Since the Federal government announced the suspension of Twitter, there has been a series of reactions to the development – even from those who had never tweeted or opened Twitter in their lives – most of which are based on raw emotions or sentiments.

Though, if I were a president of a country, I would not bother a Kobo that the micro blogging outfit deleted my tweets. I would have made them a big fool by keeping dignified silence over the development like Donald Trump did.

I am even surprised that our president could have the leisure and pleasure to tweet amidst the troubles in the country . Don’t tell me that it was ‘Garba’ that posted the contentious tweet . If I were a chief executive, true to God, Twitter and tweeting won’t be in my agenda. Twitter my FOOT. Pardon my BUSHMAN-NESS. THIS IS THE CRUX OF MATTER.
