Trump Bans Citizens of 12 Countries from Entering U.S.

President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation barring entry to citizens from 12 countries, including Chad, Congo, Iran, and Yemen, citing security concerns.

The ban takes effect June 9 and includes partial restrictions on eight other nations. The White House says the move targets countries with high terrorism risks and weak identity verification systems.
