Transition Councilor Expresses Hope For APGA Victory In Ogbaru

Ahead of 2023 general election in Nigeria, the transition Councilor (TC) for Okpoko ward 1 in Ogbaru LGA of Anambra State, Hon. Chukwudi Okwaraji has stated that he is highly optimistic that the All Progressive Grand Alliance ( APGA) party would clinch all political positions in Ogbaru LGA in the fort coming 2023 election.

Speaking to newsmen in Onitsha, Hon. Okwaraji revealed that the main reason why he obliged to serve as the transition Councilor of his ward was for him to reposition the party.

King Pele as he fondly called lamented that APGA party was in disarray during the previous gubernatorial election in the State which according to him paved way for their opponent to defeat them with 300 and fraction votes.

He boasted that such a thing can not occure again in his administration as the ward Councilor, adding that no circumstance would make APGA Party to concide election again  in Ogbaru LGA.

” I am glad now that APGA party is united and stronger. We are the landlord . We controls the State. No party would defeat us any longer both from Senate down to State House of Assembly. Whatever strategy our opponent party would apply, we are ready for them. I have confident that APGA party would emerged victorious” He maintained !

Honourable Okwaraji who was recently appointed as the transition Councilor (TC) said, he never expected to become the councilor to represent his ward even though he recommended few persons for the position but after his ward  stakeholder’s meeting, they insisted that he would take the position.

” Well, before someone  is appointed to head one position or the other, such a person must have tested and trusted because whatever you do, people know. For me, I am someone who always strive for another person’s survival. I detest cheating people and I can never be a party to persecute anyone.

I have serve people, I have served the party. I served as ward Secretary and also Secretary of all Secretary in Ogbaru LGA. I served people in various capacity. I equally served Market and society in general. I think my ward stakeholders saw all these in me before they accepted me to represent them as their councilor. So, I advise everybody to show sincerity and humility at any level in this life”
