The Province of the Niger’s stand on Covid-19

May God Almighty be glorified. Amen.
The Church is worried about the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus Disease globally but commends the Governor and Government of Anambra State for the pro-active measures he has adopted to combat the deadly scourge.

Worried by the impact and efforts of the pandemic Covid-19, the Province endorses all activities of the State Government in line with World Health Organization’s approved health standards.
The Church will continue to pray for the complete eradication of this global scourge soonest.
The Government is highly commended for constituting a 23-Membee Action Committee on Covid-19 headed by His Excellency, Chief Sir Willie Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, to ensure that the plague is contained in this State.

Finally, the Churches are reminded that security is everybody’s business. While maintaining very healthy environment, remember that your life is very dear to the Church and to God.
