Tension in Nnewi Anglican Communion

There is tension currently as worshippers of Church of Pentecost, Obiuno Otolo Nnewi could not understand what led their priest to resign his calling in the Anglican Communion and open a ministry at a roadside.
The priest in question is Rev. Agoziem Isreal Okafor who until now was incharge of the Church of Pentecost, Obiuno Otolo Nnewi.
According to Fides investigation, he was transferred to Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent Orafite as the Chaplain of the institution.
It was gathered that the Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Rt. Rev. Chukwuka Ndubuisi Obi, has already withdrawn his Ordination License, even as some said he resigned before the Bishop withdrew his license.
Information has it that he
submitted his letter of resignation shortly after he arrived at the new station.
Meanwhile,Bishop Ndubuisi Obi announced that the Priest has been dismissed as a priest of the Anglican Church of Nnewi Diocese.
He warned members of the church who might want to do business with the priest to be aware that Rev Agoziem Okafor is no longer a priest that is accountable to the Diocese and the Anglican Church.
Efforts by Fides to unravel the mystery on why the priest resigned or what prompted his sudden transfer to Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent Orafite was futile.
It’s now clear that Rev Agoziem Okafor has opened a Ministry known as The Grace Family Ministry, and has rented a space at Umuezemeko Event Centre Ezekwuabor, Otolo Nnewi.
