“According to press reports, Iran may be planning an assassination, or other attack, against the United States in retaliation for the killing of terrorist leader Soleimani, which was carried out for his planning a future attack, murdering U.S. Troops, and the death and suffering caused over so many years.
President of the United States, Donald Trump, on Tuesday, vowed to attack Iran if it retaliated the killing of its Maj. -Gen., Qassem Soleimani.
Trump, citing a press statement, claimed that the Iranian Government might be planning a revenge for the death of its military leader.
“Any attack by Iran, in any form, against the United States will be met with an attack on Iran that will be 1,000 times greater in magnitude!,” he tweeted on Tuesday.
ODOGWU MEDIA reports that Soleimani, who was the head of the elite Quds Force and central to Iran’s military influence in the Middle East, was murdered in a U.S. air raid alongside his adviser, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, at the Baghdad airport in Iraq.
“At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qassem Soleimani.
“This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans,” the U.S. government had said in a statement.
The Iranian government had yet to respond to the U.S.’ claims as of the time of this report.
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, faulted the peace agreement going on between Israel and some Arab countries.
Zarif stressed that the Trump Administration was using that to gain favour prior to the forthcoming presidential election on November 3.
“@realDonaldTrump desperately needed a campaign photo.
“His son-in-law blackmailed their regional clients into giving him one.
“The only problem: ‘Peace agreements’ being signed are NOT between foes but longstanding allies.
“What a diplomatic coup! Stay tuned for more…,” he tweeted.
For many years, U.S and Iran have not being on same page, diplomatically.
