As this year’s joyous occasion of Eid Kabir festival dawns upon us, the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, on behalf of the State Government, extends hearty greetings and congratulations to Ndi Anambra and our Muslim brothers and sisters in the state and across Nigeria.

There is no doubt that this annual Sallah celebration holds a special significance for Muslims worldwide, for it commemorates remarkable acts of faith and devotion to God while symbolising a spirit of sacrifice, generosity and goodwill among humanity.

As a government committed to the well-being and prosperity of its citizens and residents, Governor Soludo recognizes the importance of upholding religious freedom and providing an inclusive, secure environment for all.

The Governor also acknowledges and appreciates the contributions of our Muslim community, which enriches the socio-economic fabric of our great state.

Let this solemn occasion strengthen the bonds of love and harmony among us, reinforcing tolerance, empathy, and respect for one another.

And as families gather, friends reunite, and communities unite in shared celebrations during the holidays, it is also an opportunity to offer prayers and join hearts to build a better, united Nigeria where peace reigns and development thrives.
