Sokoto, UNICEF, EU, ILO to Expand Social Protection for Vulnerable Households

The Sokoto State Government, in partnership with UNICEF, the EU, and the ILO, has pledged to scale up social protection for vulnerable households.

At a stakeholders’ meeting in Sokoto, officials announced plans to enroll one million additional households into the National Social Register across Sokoto, Benue, Abia, and Oyo States to improve targeting and support for the poor.
