Chelsea ended their unbeaten form when they visited Wolverhampton at Molineux. The first half time didn’t produce a goal from either of the sides but Chelsea managed to have their lead inside the first 4 minutes of the second half thanks to Oliver Giroud’s clever finish.
Edouard Mendy was beaten by Daniel Podence after when he handled stubborn Chelsea’s defense to score an equaliser and this gave Wolverhampton confident to fight for their three points. But the Blues were still confident on getting a maximum point at Molineux therefore pushing harder to find a winning goal.
Chelsea’s desire to take all three points gave away many counterattacks by Wolves and Pedro Neto Didn’t make any mistake when he scored from the last counterattack in the last minute of stoppage time.
Kante expressed his disappointment by failing to win at Molineux, after their loss against Everton last weekend.
