Senator Ibrahim Mantu, a man destined by God in leadership, says Ben Obi

The distinguished senator Ben Obi has described late former deputy Senate president, Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu as a man sent by God at the appropriate time to play a pivotal role in serving the country.

Speaking to press men in Awka, the Anambra State capital, Ben Obi attributes that late senator Ibrahim Mantu has been a jolly good fellow with him for 25yrs as Ibrahim has no boundary in friendship.

He publicly states the truism and pivotal role Sen. Ibrahim played in collapsing the third term project on the 16th of may 2016.

” I know that senator Uche Chukwumerije and Ibrahim of the blessed memory, but senator Tafida is still alive to witness and confirm to you how the third term project was collapsed by the ignition of senator Ibrahim Mantu”

Ben obi further addressed the issues rampaging in the People Democratic Party in recent times, which he described as an avenue to execute managerial skill in leadership as crisis is a norm that will always trigger ahead of national election.

The senator also annouced that Board of trustees and stakeholders has set up a convention and zoning committee that will help in accelerating peace and progress in the party .

Following the saga of who becomes the rightful flag bearer of the PDP, Ben Obi affirmed the truism of Val Ozigbo as he described him as the qualified candidate, hence his name will be published with the INEC in due time.

” Our candidate Val Ozigbo carries one of the best credentials any candidate can present. He his an accomplished technocrat , in which nobody can say negatively to the best of my knowledge, and anybody who is saying he’s flying the flag of PDP in the state is just a dreamer”

” You don’t just go and seat down in one corner and play pranks and then think that people like us will be a part to such rascality, so far Val Ozigbo still remain our candidate”.

Addressing the issue of insecurity and insurgency in the state, senator Ben Obi attributed the cause to lack of confidence and relationship establishment between the government and the people, which led to plethora of various armed group parading as terrorist.

” Lack of confidence has degenerated the insecurity in the country, if the people has confidence in the government, the reactions in times of challenges will be positive,” he said.
