The Senate has issued a 10-day ultimatum to NNPCL after it failed to appear before a panel probing over ₦210tn in financial discrepancies from 2017 to 2023.

Lawmakers rejected NNPCL’s request for a two-month delay, warning that failure to appear by July 10 would trigger constitutional sanctions. The Senate expressed frustration over unanswered audit queries and accused the company of undermining legislative authority.
