Scholars, others to grace Chuka Nnabuife’s book Presentation

Scholars and the well to do in Anambra state and beyond will on Saturday, April 24 troop to the premises of the Anambra state Newspapers and Printing Corporation, Permanent site, Awka where Chief Chuka Nnabuife, the MD/CEO of National Light and ka odi ta Newspapers will officially launch his new three books.

Briefing journalist in Awka, Tuesday, Chief Nnabuife who authored three new books said the books articulated hair-raising and revolutionary contemporary issues in the society.

Chief Nnabuife stated the books would present vital relevance to the society and the generation’s legacies noting that it “was his modest contributions to mankind as a writer, social thinker, active journalist and keen articulator of our contemporary history for posterity.”

The author noted the books contained critical essays and discourses on salient issues that highpoint the last decade in Anambra State, Igbo Land, Nigeria and Africa as the unpredictable internal security issues, economic flip-flops, and combustive ethnic as well as religious issues.

He said the three books titled; Homeland Catalysis: More than just Anambra Narratives’, Mbize: Rage of Red Earth in Igbo Land ‘, and Nigeria Civil War (1967 — 1970): Holes in Our Bubbles, were his special intellectual offerings to the society that will offer indelible historical preservation of the society’s shared heritage.

He discussed that the books appraise epoch- making events, political developments, matters of governance as well as distinct innovative enterprises and environmental issues.

Inviting the general public to the book launch Chief Nnabuife said writing those books was never a big task as he had been grounded in journalism describing journalists as real writers who dwell on contemporary issues in the society. He concluded that the books will be reviewed on the date of presentation.

Contributing, Senior Special Adviser to the state governor on Secondary education and a member of the book Presentation planning committee, Dr. Paul Ifeanyi while extolling the intellectual capacity of the author charged the younger generations to pick interest in writing stating that it is a gift that God gives to humanity.
