SARS Now A Crime Syndicate, Officers Forced To Refund N1.2m Extorted In Delta State.


Five SARS officers attached to the IGP STS fully armed with AK-47 riffle, with no name tag, fake vehicle plate number, no uniform and name of their command picked up a man opposite Asaba Airport, check him bank moblle App and threatened to kill him if he doesn’t transfer money to them.
The man being afraid and not wanting to lose his life transferred One million, two hundred thousand naira.(1.2m) to them to save his life.
According to the Director of BEHIND BARS (BBI) Gwamnishu Harrison, a human Right foundation who helped the man to recover the money which was extorted by the five SARS operative officers.
He man cried to them and they went into action and after identify the officers with the evident of the transfer, the officers accepted to transfer the money back.
He confirmed in his official Facebook page at gwamnishu Harrison that the money has been paid in full and the criminal SARS officers has been detained and will be charged to court to face the full wrath of the law.
He said the money was transferred in three batch as follows;

N500,000
He complained that recently SARS robbery has become a norm in Delta state and revealed that currently his foundation which is Behind Bars (BBI)is handling about 5 different cases of SARS police robbery (extortion) which some have refunded while some promised to return soon.
