Russia Strikes Ukraine with 70 Missiles, 200 Drones

President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed a large-scale attack by the Russian Army on Ukraine, targeting key energy infrastructure.
In a post on his official X handle on Friday, Zelensky revealed that Russia launched nearly 70 cruise and ballistic missiles, along with almost 200 attack drones, striking multiple regions, including Odesa, Poltava, Chernihiv, and Ternopil.
“Last night, the Russian army carried out another massive assault on our energy infrastructure. Various facilities essential for daily life were targeted,” Zelensky stated.
He added that repair and restoration efforts were underway, but residential buildings were also affected. In Kharkiv, a missile struck near an apartment building, leaving several people injured who are now receiving medical attention.
The latest offensive comes less than 24 hours after a deadly strike on a Ukrainian hotel, which killed at least four people and wounded around 30 others.
