ROAD NETWORK A CRITICAL PROJECT FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

In Annals of men, we lived in an environment built up by men and women that majored in agricultural activities. Anambra West Local Government, the FOOD BASKET OF THE STATE, has in years faced with a dilemma necessitated by poor road Network.
An occasion that truncates the economic viability of the modern Anambra West Local Government people. It is imperative to saddle one with vision that’s not achievable not because it is not realistic but because it faces hurdles beyond the ordinary man remedy. An occasion which has limited our dear farmers to peasant farming rather.
Years of wasteful harvest and migration of citizens out of there domain to seek for green pasture, has become alarming in the case of Anambra West. Almost causing our local Government to fall below there expectations. But what we suffer now, cannot be compared with the glory which is to come. It will only tarry but it must surely come to pass.
Hon. TonyCollins Nwabunwanne under the Solution Agenda, has successfully wined the magical finger of the Solution Governor Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo to remember Ndi Anambra West within this critical time of ours.
Heat up palliative Work ongoing along the Federal road in Anambra West from Umueze Anam towards Umuenwelum Anam. A strategic road infrastructure to enable EZI-ANAM indigenes of Anambra West Access to their various communities within this electoral period and during Xmas time.
Recalled that the said road, is a federal government project but the benevolence of the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs Hon. TonyCollins Nwabunwanne (Ife Anam) has caused Oluatugwu 1 of Anambra to intervene.
On a Media site visit today 22nd of October, 2025, the speaker, the team of Councilors Anambra West, Hon. Anagor, Ogbuevi Morba of Umuotianya Oroma Etiti Anam and others, express there Joy and that of Ndi Ezi-Anam for the ongoing palliative Work. They never hold back there prayers for His Excellency Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo and our dear Commissioner who attracted the project.
The site Manager Engr Promised of New Idea Construction Company give a strong assurance of the project completion on or before next two weeks time.
Sand filling is seriously going on a little bit beyond Aribo. While the grading machine has crossed the entrance of Umudora/Umuikwu Anam road towards Oroma Etiti Anam. There was a significant easy to travellers along the road today as there was no issues of sinked vehicles.
