Rivers court rejects injunction in Fubara impeachment case
The Rivers State High Court has declined to block Chief Judge Chibuzor Simeon Amadi from acting on impeachment requests against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Deputy Ngozi Ordu.
The judge said the matter is before the Court of Appeal and adjourned the case indefinitely, halting High Court action until the appellate ruling. Wike’s camp welcomed the decision.
