Resident met with hilarious scene after storming PHCN office to complain about power outage (Video)

A resident of Ikeja, Lagos state has conveyed a discovery he made after visiting the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, (IKEDC) to lay a grievance.

He wanted to express his complaint about the fact that they have not been getting a power supply in their area, however, when he reached the office, he saw that they also did not have power.

While waiting to be attended to, he saw a staff and security official pouring petrol into the officer generator in preparation to put it on and power the office.

He was baffled by what he saw that he decided to record the moment they were pouring the fuel, and he showed the IKEDC signboard.

In similar news, a video which went viral on social media captured the moment officials of Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN fled upon possible threat to their lives.

They reportedly went to Ajegunle in Lagos state to disconnect power and they were met with aggression by angry members of the community.

It was gathered that the residents threatened to beat them up if they dared cut electric supply, but the officials remained committed to doing their job.

The video surfaced at a time when the PHCN cut off the power supply across the country as part of a warning strike.

Ajegunle youths who were displeased with their presence engaged them in a hot pursuit in a bid to pounce on them so they had to take to their heels.

In the video, power officials who donned their uniforms could be seen running away in fear.(correctng)
