Reps, NEPZA Vow Strict Enforcement of Free Trade Zone Rules
The House of Representatives and NEPZA have pledged strict enforcement of Free Trade Zone regulations to ensure full remittance to the Federation Account. During an oversight visit to Dangote Refinery and Lagos Free Zone, NEPZA CEO Olufemi Ogunyemi reaffirmed commitment to transparency, warning operators of sanctions for non-compliance.
Public Accounts Committee Chair Bamidele Salam urged NEPZA to expand zones nationwide and ensure regulations are fully activated to boost industrial growth.
