Rape: No means No, as Chinenye Ogbodo cries out in her book

A gender protection advocate, Chinenye Ogbodo has called for a stiffer actions against pepetractors of rape in the society.

Miss Ogbodo ,a victim herself has been crying out all over Nigeria and Africa at large for concerted action against acts of sexual violence among the people.

Miss Ogbodo who disclosed this in an interview with www.odogwublog.com decried the horrifying experiences of the female children in Africa as they have been serially abused.

She noted that negligence on the part of the parents, lack of educating the boy child from their childhood and lack of balance sex education as causes of sexual abuse.

Chinenye Ogbodo who is the Author of “No means No”, a novel that has been able to liberate souls who have been emotionally downtrodden as a result of sexual abuse they encountered is now going viral as lots of readers have shared there chilling experiences.

In her words from her book she said “Abuse strips a person of the freedom to choose, decide and
live the life they ever dreamt of fulfilling.”

Miss Ogbodo, who is the founder of Dare to speak Africa Facebook Community
has featured in various magazines, radio shows and distinguished programs where she speaks about the need to protect the girl child and Gender Parity.

The Dare to speak Africa Facebook Community is a place where Individuals are free to air their voices not minding the state of their experience as in togetherness they can conquer.

Chinenye Ogbodo, an entrepreneur is from Umuawulu in Awka South Local government Area of Anambra State.

Over one hundred copies of her book” NO MEANS NO” have been sold out in a couple of months as she awaits parents, guardians to pick a copy and educate there child.
