There was a fire outbreak at bush bar axis of Centre view hotel Abagana in Njikoka LGA of Anambra State.
The Anambra state commissioner of Police through the PPRO Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed confirmed that following a distress call, Police patrol team led by DPO Abagana Division CSP Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor rushed to the scene and alerted the fire service department.
He assured that no loss of life and no casualty was recorded as the case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.
Meanwhile, the fire was put off with the assistance of volunteers. The Area was cordoned off by the Police to prevent hoodlums from taking advantage of the situation to loot. Cause of fire is yet unknown and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
