Prof. Soludo: A life of caring with others
One of the most exciting decisions one can make in life is to be on the look-out for opportunities to invest in others and make the lives of the people better.
This timeless assertion seems to be the solemn principles driving Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s ambition to become the next governor of Anambra state.
Soludo has exhibited the uncanny character of always being disposed towards helping others, investing in them and changing their lives for good.
The Legendary ‘William Ward’ once said that there are three keys to abundant living: “caring about others, daring for others and sharing with others”
In the odyssey of his life, Prof Soludo has always adopted the attitude of caring for others.
It is on record that while he was a young student he was offering free extra-mural lessons for students who were preparing for WAEC at no cost attached.
While he was the CBN Governor, he embarked on one of the most daring mission ever witnessed in the financial history of Nigeria with the banking consolidation exercise (at the risk of his life) just to protect the savings of poor Nigerians as well as ensured the banks are solid enough to finance capital projects that will benefit the generality of the populace
Soludo has also not shied away from sharing with others the modest means that God has blessed him with through dint of personal hard-work.
Today he is a trail-blazer in “Adopt-a-school-project.”
