Prince Charles Commends Pdp Post-Lockdown Covid-19 Palliatives
Anambra State PDP share shared Covid-19 post-lockdown palliatives donated by the party stakeholders, representative at various level. The distribution which was chaired by the PDP Anambra State Covid-19 Welfare committee chairperson, Lady Chidi Alexandra Onyemelukwe, saw the handing over of cash and food items as palliatives to the vario5us PDP local government Chairmen of Anambra state.
Prince Charles Chidubem Okoye, the PDP candidate for Awka North State House of Assembly who was one of the donors, hails the gesture and initiative as timely and commendable. He stated that this gesture which came after most stakeholders and party members has individually shared palliatives at various quarters within and outside the state.
“The People’s Democratic Party has demonstrated her ingenuity in trying to mitigate the devastating effects of Covid-19 on Nigerians and not just Ndi Anambra State. They’ve shown that the party is poised in meeting the yawning of the general populace even as the country is faced with an unforseen hardship across communities and towns.”
“We commend everyone who bought into this idea and encourage party members and Ndi Anambra to continue observing health guidelines and government directives, as only when one is healthy and sound, can he/she enjoy the dividends of democracy and every other palliatives that might come on the course of fighting the novel coronavirus also known as Covid-19.”
The palliatives for Awka North was received by the PDP Local Government Chairman, Chief John Ekweozor (Ide Achalla) and would be distributed across communities in Awka North Local Government Area. While receiving the palliatives, Chief John thanked Lady Onyemelukwe and her committee for a peaceful distribution of the palliatives and also appreciate the leadership of the party led by His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi (Okwute) under the chairmanship of Chief Hon. Ndubuisi Nwobu (Obuka Awka).
