President Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) laments non obedience to laws by nation leaders, lawlessness, insecurity, lack of peace in Nigeria

Most Rev. Dr. Daniel Okoh the national president of Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) and general superintendent Christ Holy Church International has lamented the non obedience to laws by nation leaders, lawlessness, insecurity, lack of peace in almost every part of the country noting that these problems are responsible for the nation numerous woes.
Making this lamentation through Bishop Abel Oguejiofor the Bishop of province 4 of Christ Holy Church International while speaking to newsmen during the Bishop visit, welcoming and thanksgiving service of Rev. Pastor Geoffrey Madubuike to Nibo district headquarter of the church held recently, the (CAN) boss who was visibly disturbed by these problem said that if Nigerians should embrace peace while the nation leaders obey laws that insecurity, killings and other vices that are working against sustainable development and progress of the country will ceased.
Said the respectful cleric, “In Nigeria we cannot achieve anything meaniful without peace, when peace begins to reign everything will move on well, the problem Nigeria as a nation is facing are caused by lack of peace, disrespect for our laws etc, Nigerians should embrace peace and strive for the respect of God, if our leaders will learn to respect laws, play to the rule as well as the masses shuns selling of their franchise but votes according to their conscience I believe Nigeria will be better”.
Also speaking venerable David Achukwu the supervising Priest in charge of Christ holy church Awka superintendence urged Nigerians to abide to the teaching of Jesus Christ as well as shuns vices just as he appealed to the nation leaders to rule with the fear of God and shuns corrupt tendencies in government.
On his part, Rev Pastor Geoffrey Madubuike who was a former media aid to Most Rev. Dr. Daniel Okoh who is now the new Vicar of Christ holy Christ Holy Church International Nibo District Headquarters while expressing happiness on the reception given to him, thanked his former boss Dr. Okoh for been a good mentor, motivator and role model in his ministry of serving God. While recounting his experiences and his challenges in his priestly ministry, he stated that God has always been his guide and sustainer even as he commended his wife and his entire family for always encouraging him to serve God.
Speaking to journalists immediately after the service, a prominent elder of the church who is an astute businessman, Chief Samuel Chukwudi Afunwa an oil and gas magnet expressed joy on the visit of the church top hierarchy to Nibo district headquarters and called all wealthy Nigerians not to relent in serving God with their resources adding that he is progressing in his business endeavour because of God intervention.pointing that the parishioners of the church are happy with the leadership of Dr. Daniel Okoh the General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church International and his entire subordinates like the Bishop of province 4 as well as other clerics, entire workers in the church he expressed happiness on behalf of the district to receive new Vicar Rev. Pastor Geoffrey Madubuike who he describe as a trail blazer in winning of souls for Christ.
