The National Coordinator of POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amaraizu, disclosed this while speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Enugu on the importance of the tournament to POCACOV campaign against cultism and drug abuse among youths.

Amaraizu, who said that the tournament had been tagged: “042 6-a-side Neighbourhood Mini-football Tournament (BOOLU OGBE)”, would kick-off on Feb. 1, 2022, in various football pitches in designated centres within Enugu metropolis.

He said that a one-day seminar has been slated ahead of the tournament to equip stakeholders – teams, officials and spectators – with the basic information on the rules and regulation of 6-a-side football tournament.

“It is now well organised and these have made it more interesting and all-inclusive to achieve its objectives,” he said.
