Perpetual silence in Nasarawa PDP, as Engineer Sule roles dividends of democracy

Shock that has gripped Nasarawa state citizens since the assumption of office of the incumbent governor , Engineer Abdullahi Sule is the stable peace in communities known for seasonal communal clashes of herders and farmers.
It is about two years now with no record of what used to be, especially during this season where lives and properties were at risk due to activities of herders search for green pastures to enable their cattles graze.
But it has never been that old story again,where the state government was forced to spending a large sum of money ,just for resettling those whose farm lands and property are destroyed.
Whatever measures taken by the governor under the two years of his being in office,has been viewed as a milestone achievement of Engineer Sule’s leadership ability, especially those from the southern senatorial zone of the state ,who often have to undergo being rendered homeless,chased out of their farm lands and are left to mourn the lost of lives of their love ones,that were hacked to death.
With the changing history, many are today joining camp with the Governor ,as there has been ceaseless defection from the major opposition political party PDP,if not on a daily basis.
The most recent of such defection was last Saturday in Lafia,where one of the bigwig of the PDP in Nasarawa state,Dr Joseph Haruna Kigbu and thousands of his supporters decamped from the opposition PDP to APC.
The defectors had no much to claim as being their reasons for dumping the PDP ,but hold strong to the fact that the governer, Engineer Sule’ has put in so much in a little time for the progress and development of the state,hence their quest to support him for a better Nasarawa state.
First ,it was the former speaker of the state Assembly,Hon Ahmed Musa,who presided over the Third Assembly,then comes two members in the Fourth assembly,one from SDP and the other from the PDP.
In what appears to be the engineer Sule’s tsunami, the Peoples Democratic Party,despite the fact that at the national level,the Board of Trustee chairman is from Nasarawa state,the party has remained in perpetual silence over the glowing defection from it’s platform.
Today the Peoples Democratic Party in Nasarawa state is hanging on Honourable Jonathan Gbefwi Gaza ,it only surviving representative,whom in some quarters is said to be considering leaving the party,as most of his alley,Honourable Ahmed Wadada whom he respected so much and former speaker, Yakubu Dogara, are all members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
The shocker in the whole senerio which is playing out is that the state chairman of the opposition party ,Honourable Francis Orogu,since he got reelected after a legal battle,which was strongly supported by the recent decampee,Dr Joseph Kigbu,has unlike before where he has an array of supporters,failed to prove that his reelection can revive the fainted PDP in Nasarawa state.
Going by these track records, Engineer Abdullahi Sule ,in an event boasted that the one way to which an opposition party will be silence,is to continue to deliver the dividend of democracy to the people.
On records,the governor had promised to complete uncompleted projects by his predecessors,which he has fullfiled.He also assured that his administration will make working conditions conducive to workers in the state,that he has not only made it possible but has stepped into payments of gratuity and pension to retirees,in full .
Governor Sule’ has also initiated and completed some of his new projects and causing investment friendly atmosphere for both foriegn and local investors,no wonder the APC in Nasarawa state continues to swell up numerically with no objection from its major opposition party,who may be shocked at the unprecedented progress made by the APC it once boasted to sent out of Shendam road government house Lafia.
