Outrage as NULGE Rejects Alleged Transfer of Osun LG Funds to APC Chairmen
The National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has condemned alleged plans by the Accountant General and the CBN to divert Osun local government funds to APC-aligned individuals.
NULGE President Aliyu Kankara called the move illegal, urging President Tinubu to intervene and uphold local government fiscal autonomy.
Senior Advocate Musibau Adetunbi also warned against bypassing legal LG authorities, calling it a politically motivated breach of the law.
Meanwhile, civil society groups remain divided, with the Coalition for Good Governance rejecting protest threats over the crisis, accusing Governor Adeleke of desperation.
