ONITSHA NORTH LGA BOSS EMBARKS ON MASSIVE REPAIRS OF ROAD PORTHOLES IN COUNCIL AREA

Onitsha North LGA Boss Mr. Onochie Ozoma has embarked on massive repairs of road portholes, clearing of illegal structures, open up of drainages as well as clearing of refuse from gutters in the council area.

Speaking to newsmen on this development during the Pastoral Visit of Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha Most Rev. Valeria Maduka Okeke to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Awka Road, Inland Town Onitsha last Sunday, Ozoma noted that already, that the Local Government under his leadership had already repaired all port holes in twelve roads and streets and is vigorously tackling other remaining roads as well as cleaning all gutters, removal of illegal structures that would act as impendent to free flow of traffic during the yuletide season adding they intend to conclude it before the Christmas.

Saying that the local government is drawing their inspiration from Gov. Soludo, he stated that apart from repairs of portholes, that the council will also embarks on massive control of traffic in major roads to ensure free traffic flow as well as provide security cover for commuters during the season.

Commenting on Gov. Soludo’s performances so far, he noted the Governor’s achievements on roads construction, provision of healthcare, empowerment management state resources, sports and youth development is a testimony that the Anambra is lucky to have such achiever as their governor and urged every citizen of the state to continue supporting the Governor to achieve more.

Hear him, “Governor Charles Soludo is a God sent to the people of Anambra State, his achievements on areas of roads, management of resources, sports, youths empowerment and others are exemplary which other states in the federation should emulate”.
