A property developer and agriculturist, from Abatete, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, Chief Frank Okoyearo, Monday, described the palliatives from Federal Government to mitigate the sufferings of Nigerians caused mainly by removal of the oil subsidy, as a scam.

According to Chief Okoyearo who is called’ Ezekwuluonweya 11, by his admirers, the money, vehicles and other palliatives earmarked by the Federal Government to cushion the effect would have been better if put in agricultural sector as Nigerians are hungry.

Chief Okoyearo who is relocating from Abuja to his Abatete country home based on the ‘Think-home’ philosophy of former Governor Chukwuemeka Ezeife and incumbent Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, said that he always had in mind of coming home to settle down.

” I built my house in the village 37 years ago, I always have this place at heart as my final destination, I have a farm within the compound. I lost about 6,000 snails to poison.

“We are being led by elites clique of people, Africans being led by unqualified people, keep doing unnecessary things. Tinubu might be doing his best but we will not be grateful for what he is doing because it is not our choice, it may be choice of others, he came and said he would continue from where former President Mohammadu Buhari stopped.

“We said, don’t continue from where he stopped because we suffered under him, the thing metamorphosed into higher suffering, from purgatory to hell, the issue of refinery is a scam of highest order. Nigeria has crude, given to us by God for all of us to enjoy, few individuals ally themselves up and kidnap the fortunes of everybody and start juggling with it.

“Now you are setting price with International market, you are not drilling everyday, you are just pumping what you have drilled already. So when you start comparing yourself to that of America, it is wonderful, there is infrastructure for transportation in America but it is not here. So how can you meet up with people who are working far away home and you are paying them peanut as #30,000 a month.

“Can it feed that person for a month, with the cost of transportation, how can the person cope with two children and you are still talking of fraud while you have created avenue for fraud, because you know that these people are in a survival line, how will they survive.

“People walk into a restaurant, eat and pay equivalent of their salary for a dish, each lawmaker receives #40 million, to buy car, is it the reason they are there, they are there to make laws, the money you gave them belongs to people, of course the people in question, don’t they have cars, was the arrangement once they enter there, they buy them cars?, no, before the eyes of the standing masses, you gave them #40 million each and you told the people that have the money that you gave them #8000 for family of six every month.

“It is a scam and babaric, we seem to be dealing with buccaneers, vampires that are sucking every bite of blood from us. I want to ask when Minister (Mrs) Madueke, former Finance Minister, was recruiting 5million dollars monthly into the oil rivers, people were shouting, they chased her and she flew away, we are still very angry and Buhari made himself the judge and the jury while there. He never remitted one naira from Madueke for eight years he was President.

“The money being remitted by Diesani Madueke was enough to build new refinery, Nigeria could not ever build one refinery, now how can we enjoy what God has given us, in overseas, you don’t need to owe a car for you to move around. Here no infrastructure, no transportation.

“Suppose you have situation where people can drive well, buy their fuel, if they so wish, you are forcing the whole people to buy at the same price, no train, no transit bus, people were forced to pay from their nose, salary are low, inflation is high, in this situation, you need to follow the moving train or stay in it until it clashes.

“As far as people like me are concern, palliatives are scam, we are told that children are being fed in schools, so called nutritional food value they are fed like Agege bread. These leaders are evil, God will not remember them in their 3rd generation, they are evil, you know we are not feeding these children, they are suffering, the palliative itself is a scam, why? Nigeria is hungry, if you want to give palliative, you start from bringing peace to the families, to make peace is easy.

“If they are really serious, what is Nigerians doing in Niger, in refugee camp. One million Nigerians in refugee camps scattered all over and we want our soldiers to go and fight war across border, International war, why can’t we return the refugees back to their villages, if you relocate these people back to their villages,I bet you,in the next nine months , there will be enough food in Nigeria.

“These people will go back to their homes and go when planning of palliative, that is the first thing to do, if you plant plantain in nine months , yam reaches six months, if you can get the corpers, every corper should go to farm settlement, if you are in pharmacist department, when you are taking care of the sick with the Doctors, you work there for one year.

“Brazil is doing it , Brazil has what is called family farming, they will go to school in the morning, in the afternoon they will go to the workshop or farm, and transform poor people, to raise them from poverty to average family within 10 years. Our leaders should resolve the way they share trader money, going into milk and start giving people money, it is primitive, they don’t have records, what can they do with #8000 palliative in a place where gasoline is #6000 for 10 litres.

“if they want to buy the fortunes of Nigeria, they should go back to drawing board, to stop the problem, first, you don’t have to import #40million jeeps from Japan for senators, what to do is to create jobs for our children for the local car plants, including innoson and other ones,” he stated.
