Ohanaeze youths laud Gov Ikpeazu on inclusion of young people in governance

Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, an Igbo socio-cultural organization, has commended Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, for exhibiting exceptional leadership which it posited, has engendered greater empowerment of youths especially in the area of Small and Medium-scale Enterprises and human capital development.
OYC said that despite the harsh effects of COVID-19 pandemic on the nation’s economy, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has given Abia a facelift through massive construction and rehabilitation of critical road projects, promotion of made in Aba products, overseas training of Indigenous youths and ongoing establishment of Enyimba Economic city.
The Igbo socio-cultural group made the commendation in a press release jointly signed by its president, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro and the Secretary-General, Okwu Nnabuike and made available to newsmen on Friday.
Ohanaeze youths said, “We have taken stock the performances of the political leaders in Igbo extraction of South East and South-South geopolitical zone. We have come to the conclusion that in the absence of Igbo man to be president, Vice President, Chief Justice of the Federation, Ohanaeze youths think the onion falls on the Southern Governors of Igbo bloc.
