OHANAEZE NDIGBO WORLDWIDE: 2022 Inauguration of Awka North Executives And Award-Giving Ceremony.

The event which was held at the Awka North local government council headquarters in Achalla, on the 30th of November,2022 had in attendance the state president, Obi Chukwuemekalum Udodeme, Adama II of Dim-Ubana village, state executive members, the host members; Ohanaeze Ndigbo Awka-North and several invitees who graced the event from different parts of the state.

n his address, the chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Awka north chapter; Comrade Basil Nwachukwu Okeke, Omekagu Ugbenu noted that it was the first time Awka-North chapter of the association was inaugurating its executive members since it’s inception at the local government level. The chairman urged sons and daughters of Awka-North to embrace the organization with every sense of sincerity and plea their maximum support for the growth and progress of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Awka-North chapter.

The state president, Adama II of Dim-Ubana village, when addressing the newly inducted executives stated the need for unity and tolerance as it concerns achieving success in their leadership roles. He further advised that love should thrive amongst them in the display of their duty with an instance of tolerating and correcting each others’ flaws for smooth running of the organizations affaires.

Various personalities of eminent status who have in diverse ways impacted positively in the lives of the people of Awka-North and beyond, majorly from Awka-North local government were given awards for their applaudable contributions.

The awardees expressed joy and gratitude for being found worthy as to be honored in such manner. They promised to always reach out to the people of Awka North in their capacity when called upon.

One of the Awardees, Igwe Christopher Nnaemka, Iga II of Ebenebe Jp through his representative enjoined the people of Awka north to be supportive and promised to take part in actualising any workable ideas when called upon.

The NUJ chairman, Anambra state council, Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu through his representative, Oguocha Chukwuebuka, expressed gratitude and stated emphatically that issues concerning Awka North is of utmost concern to him and wished he has all it takes to fasten the progress of Awka-North where necessary.

The Chairman, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Awka North chapter; Mazi Basil Okeke thanked every one who availed themselves for the event and wishes them well in their life endeavours.

One of the women leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Awka North Chapter, Mrs. Esther Obiora in her appreciation speech commended the chairman for his efforts towards ensuring the progress of Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
