Ogun Records 502 GBV Cases in 2025, Seeks Stronger Laws

Ogun State reported 502 gender-based violence cases in 2025, with two convictions and 28 pending, says Commissioner Adijat Adeleye. Cases include sexual, domestic, child, and digital abuse.

She called for stronger laws and coordinated action, highlighting online abuse, during a 16-day activism walk led by the First Lady.
