Ogbaru Main Market PG Begins Another Phase Of Light Instullation

In order to solidify the security architecture of the Market, the President general of Ogbaru Main Market, near Onitsha, Anambra State, Mr. Ndubuisi Ochiogu has commenced another phase of instullation of solar lights in major streets around the Market.

Newsmen who went to the Market on routine news gathering saw solar lights mounted at the various strategic corners of streets around the Market were compelled to ask how the project came about, haven known that the President of the Market had since mounted solar lights inside the Market.

Speaking to newsmen, the  President general of the Market, Mr. Ndubuisi Ochiogu revealed that some stakeholders and friends in the Market are behind the few solar lights mounted when they noticed his plans of mounting solar lights around the Market streets.

It would be recalled that Mr. Ochiogu when he assumed duty as the elected President general of the Market embarked on drainage desilting and decongesting of roads inside the Market. 

He also rehabilitated abandoned water bore-hole, procured assorted fire extinguishers that saved the Market from inferno, ratified  Market EEDC light by reducing   accumulated bills which  he inherited from his predecessors, built convenient facility, regular wastes evacuation and restoration of peace and tranquility in the Market.

Ochiogu explained that his vision for the Market is to reposition it in terms of structural development and to create legacy of  standard leadership in the Market.

” Anytime I want to embark on a project in this Market, so many people would like to support me. These solar lights were donated by some stakeholders and my friends in the Market. I deemed it imperative that light is a security of it’s own. It compliments our security men and reduces pocket crimes along Obodoukwu Road. It is expected that the whole Instullation will be completed by June ending”  Ochiogu Said.

The Ezeudo of Ogbaru Main Market wondered  why Federal Road Maintaince Agency (FERMA) and state Government have not responded to his  calls on the collapsed portion of Sakamori beside the Market which he said had already engulfed about 1,000 shop owned by traders who supposed to be paying government revenue.

” I am still appealing to (FERMA) and state government to come to our rescue by immediate commencement of work on the failed portion of the Sakamori and  safe the entire Market from taken over by flooding especially now we are in rain season”
