Obi urges electorate on finalizing Labour Party’s mandate after storming Anambra

The Labour Party, LP, presidential flag bearer in the just decided February 25 election, Peter Obi, has arrived in Anambra State to campaign for his party’s prospects for the State House of Assembly election.

Obi, who disclosed this in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, said he was in the State to thank Obidients and seek support for LP candidates.

The former Anambra State governor called on the people to put an authoritative seal on the broad mandate that the party received during the presidential election.

He wrote, “I arrived in Anambra State this morning. This is another great opportunity to thank the Obidients, and ask them to go out en masse and support LP candidates. Let’s put a defining and authoritative seal on the broad mandate that the Labour Party received on 25th February.”
