Obi Gives Succour Scores Of Women In Ojoto

A philanthropist in Ojoto, Idemili South Council area, Chief Linus Obi has put smiles on faces of thousand of daughters and wives in Enugo Village Ojoto, as he donated bags of rice, other food items and money to them.

The event attracted some leaders and indigenes of Ojoto, politicians, friends and well -wishers who also donated to assist the women.

Speaking to the ABS in an interview, the donor, Chief Linus Obi, explained that it has become an annual event by his entire family to

always put smile on the faces of their wives and daughters every year.

Chief Obi who thanked God for His mercies to his family, said he would continue to appreciate Him by giving back to the society, believing that living is all about impacting on lives and transforming the society especially the lives of the less privileged.

The Ojoto born business mogul, also constructed some road projects in Ojoto and sunk four boreholes within the community to help improve the life of the people, noting that development of a town should not be left for the government alone.

Chief Obi extolled Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his interventions on roads in Anambra state and urged the citizens to support the Governor to enable him actualized his mission and vision for the state.

Some of the beneficiaries including Mrs. Ebele lbe, Mrs Josephine Okoye, and Princess Ngozi Mba thanked Chief Obi for the annual gesture and prayed God to continue to blessing him and his family, noting that he is God sent to the community and disclosed that he has been assisting the people for more than three year now.

Also speaking, some of the guests, including Chief Dennis Okafor and Chief Gozie Anozie affirmed that ,the donor has been involved in community development and touching the lives of the less privileges persons.

In their separate reactions , the APGA Flag – bearer for ldemili North and South Federal Constituency , Honourable Ikenna lyiegbu and Transition Committee Chairman for ldemili South Council Area Honorable Amaka Obi said they came to identified with Chief Obi for his humanitarian activities.

The event featured distribution of bags of rice, other food items and dances.
