NUPRC Targets 2mmbopd by 2027, 3mmbopd by 2030
NUPRC CEO Engr. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan unveiled a reform agenda for Nigeria’s upstream sector, aiming for 2 million barrels per day by 2027 and 3 million by 2030.
The plan focuses on boosting production, speeding approvals, and ensuring safe, sustainable operations, including recovery of shut-in volumes, digitalised permits, and full compliance with the Petroleum Industry Act.
A monthly CCE–Operators Forum will address bottlenecks in production, approvals, and infrastructure, with quarterly reports tracking progress.
