NSITF Vows Tougher Action on Non-Compliance
The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has pledged stricter enforcement against non-compliant states and employers. Managing Director Oluwaseun Faleye announced plans to enhance compliance among MDAs and expand the scheme to state and local governments.
Faleye highlighted legal actions against defaulting organizations and ongoing discussions with the National Assembly for stronger enforcement powers. He also emphasized workplace safety, improved service delivery, and financial sustainability as key priorities for NSITF.
