No Religious Disturbance in Anambra – Muslim Leader, Haruna

The Chairman, Anambra State Northern Traditional Council and Sarkin Hausawan Awka Alhaji Garba Haruna says Muslims and Christians in Anambra State are living together peacefully, with no religious disturbance in the state.
Alhaji Haruna stated this while speaking on the relationship between Muslim community and Anambra State Government, describing it as very cordial.
He said Muslims are treated equally with other residents of the state and expressed satisfaction with government policies concerning the Muslim community.
He commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his inclusive approach and for remembering the Muslim community during its recent celebration.
Alhaji Haruna also said the state has continued to enjoy peace and security, attributing the development partly to the support given to security agencies by the Soludo administration.
He called on Muslims and other residents of Anambra State to continue living as brothers and sisters, stressing the need for peace, unity and peaceful coexistence.
