It was an embrassment for the Oldest traditional ruler in Anambra state and the traditional ruler of Nnewi, Igwe Kenneth Orizu, his cabinet Chiefs and all Nnewi North Indigenes that their son, Chief Festus Egbuonu is jailed for 2 years for malicious damage despite his bragging, www.odogwublog.com reports.

Chief Festus Egbuonu prides himself as Obi Ezeliorah of Obiuno Otolo Nnewi.

Festus was found guilty of malicious damage and threatening violence to fellow kinsman by an Nnewi Chief Magistrate Court following the wanton destruction of his kinsman’s property.

Chief Festus Egbuonu was convicted also of threatening his victim through harassing SMS texts, www.odogwublog.com further reports.

The Chief Magistrate found the use of excessive force and desire to make his kinsman fear for his life reprehensible.

Witnesses in court said that Mr Festus Egbuonu often acts out of spite and jealousy, hence he frequently attacks family and friends.

The law having prevailed hopes to put sanity within the community and remind everyone of the rule of law and order.
