NIMC Records 120m NIN Enrolments, Clears ₦280m Debt, Promotes 1,300 Staff…To Launch Digital ID Card by October
The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has hit 120.4 million NIN enrolments, cleared ₦280m debt, and promoted 1,300 staff.
DG Abisoye Coker-Odusote also announced system integration with 120 MDAs and a digital ID card set for October launch. While NIN enrolment remains free, fees for data modifications and USSD retrieval have been adjusted.
The reforms align with the World Bank’s ID4D initiative and Nigeria’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
