NIMASA Shuts Two Lagos Terminals Over Security Breach
NIMASA has closed ShellPlux and TMDK Terminals in Lagos for repeatedly violating the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
The agency said the move followed months of non-compliance despite warnings. DG Dayo Mobereola emphasized the importance of strict security as Nigeria works to meet global maritime standards. The terminals will remain shut until full compliance is achieved.
