Nigerian Teen Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Canvas Painting

Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, a 15-year-old autistic Nigerian artist, has officially been recognized by Guinness World Records (GWR) for creating the largest painting on canvas by an individual.

The massive artwork, spanning 12,303 square meters, was unveiled at Eagle Square, Abuja, on April 2, coinciding with World Autism Awareness Day.

During the event, which featured the official presentation of the GWR certificate, dignitaries, art enthusiasts, and advocates for autism inclusion gathered to celebrate his achievement.

Tagbo-Okeke’s father highlighted his son’s determination, noting that despite initial doubts, he proved his goal was attainable.
